3.0.0-beta released!


The game has received a large update.

Changes:

  • Added CoreScripts, a new scripting system that will replace the old canvas system
    • A lot of this is still in progress so I won’t be making a guide yet. If you’re interested, check out the CoreScripts folder in the main world. The new mission was written in this new system.
  • EP3 is being reworked. The old missions have been removed and the first mission has been rewritten.
  • Towers have been buffed Energy tower 150 -> 100 power, 75 -> 150 energy regen Regen tower 250 -> 100 power, 150 -> 250 shell regen Speed tower 200 -> 50 power
  • Fixed a bug where the part index checking was happening far too often causing large inventories to lag on ship reconstruct
  • Kappa has been made easier (though it’s not like there’s story for it anymore, yet)
  • Fixed an issue with finish task nodes not activating correctly when other missions are using the same entity
  • Added Core Glow as an option
  • Adjusted tractor beam effect
  • The radio icon of the entity you are talking to in dialogue has been updated
  • Original style dialogue no longer has backing boxes on the response options
  • You can no longer bring up the status menu while the game is paused
  • There's a new pause menu. The old one had been strung along from the prototype versions, which were made 5 years ago.
  • The world creator object ghost will no longer follow your cursor while paused
  • You are no longer able to interact with ShellCores in SiegeZones
  • The Nanoscope can no longer be started without finishing The Capitol’s Reckoning
  • The game no longer shows you missions that a) are inactive, and b) do not have at least one prerequisite that is complete
  • The Ship Builder rudderbucky server validity display can now be toggled under the miscellaneous settings and is set to disabled by default
  • Several settings previously under the miscellaneous settings section were moved to a new graphical effects section
  • addpart command now gives you syntax if you don't add any arguments
  • Removed rank from missions
  • Cores no longer use any abilities in cutscenes
  • You can now shift click to instantly delete saves in the save menu
  • Updated the look of the party wheel
  • In cutscenes your dialogue style is forced to be remastered so you can make sense of which core is saying what
  • Dialogue on entities should now run correctly after winning a battlezone or siegezone
